At Elkhart Pediatric Dentistry, we’re dedicated to making every child’s dental visit a positive, comfortable, and fun experience.
Dr. Kristin Murphy is a pediatric dentist with over 12 years of experience. After completing her dental degree, she went on to pursue two additional years of specialized training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, graduating in 2010. Since then, she has focused exclusively on caring for infants, children, teens, and patients with special health needs. Often called the “pediatricians of dentistry,” pediatric dentists like Dr. Murphy are uniquely trained to guide children toward a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Our office was designed with kids in mind—from the welcoming, child-friendly environment to specialized equipment that helps little ones feel at ease. Dr. Murphy and her team believe that creating a positive dental home early in life leads to lifelong health and confidence.
Dr. Murphy is thrilled to bring her passion for children’s oral health to the Elkhart community. She is especially proud of her outstanding staff, many of whom have been with the practice for years. Each team member contributes their own expertise and heart, working together to provide exceptional care in a fun, supportive atmosphere.
At Elkhart Pediatric Dentistry, our mission is simple: to help children feel safe, cared for, and even excited about visiting the dentist—one happy smile at a time.
Meet Hamilton – Our Office Pup! 🐾
Every great dental team needs a little extra cuteness—and at Elkhart Pediatric Dentistry, that’s Hamilton!
Hamilton is our beloved 3/4 pug, 1/4 boxer, and 100% bundle of joy. With his squishy face, wiggly tail, and playful personality, he’s always ready to greet patients with a wag and a smile. Hamilton has a special talent for putting kids at ease—whether he’s offering cuddles in the waiting room, showing off his favorite toys, or just being his goofy, lovable self.
When he’s not “on duty” at the office, Hamilton enjoys long naps, snacks, and plenty of belly rubs. He may not have a dental degree, but he’s an important part of our team—helping to create a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe and comfortable.
Hamilton can’t wait to meet you and add a little extra sunshine to your next visit!
Kristyn keeps our practice running smoothly with her organization, dedication, and warm personality. With her experience in pediatric dentistry, she’s passionate about supporting our team and making every patient feel welcome.
When she’s not busy helping create happy smiles, you’ll find her traveling and adventuring with her husband Alex, their daughter, and their silly pup Hamilton. A thrill-seeker at heart and an avid reader, if she’s not chasing adventure, she’s probably chasing chapters in a good book—all while making new memories with her family.
Yareli has been an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) for five years. During that time, she earned her CDA, as well as certifications in coronal polishing, fluoride application, and nitrous oxide. She loves what she does, especially working with kids and making them smile. She also enjoys educating parents and children to help them feel confident about dental health and care.
Her next big goal is to attend dental hygiene school so she can expand her role and focus on caring for patients with special needs, while continuing to assist, since she truly loves every part of dentistry. Outside of work, Yareli is a wife and proud mom of three amazing kids, which keeps her days full and joyful. Her nephews have also been one of her biggest inspirations, motivating her to dedicate her career to creating positive dental experiences for children and patients with special needs.
Taylor has been an EFDA for over nine years and loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the chair. She is certified in coronal polishing, fluoride application, and nitrous oxide, and is known for her gentle touch and friendly personality. She takes pride in creating positive dental experiences for patients of all ages.
When she’s not helping create healthy smiles, Taylor is a proud wife and busy mom of three who loves making memories with her family, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places. At home, you’ll often find her enjoying cozy moments with her dog and cat, who keep life just as lively as her patients do. Whether she’s at work or at home, Taylor brings energy, compassion, and a big heart to everything she does.
